Insurance premiums for 2024 are seeing a 4.52% to 7.11% increase across all our categories this year. Insurance experts caution that policies attached to property will continue to rise as long as extreme weather events continue to create damage.

Again in 2023, we had a claim due to damage caused by high winds when a tent blew into a vehicle (same as in 2022). Manager and vendors: let's make sure there is a minimum of 25 pounds weight per tent leg.

On the plus side, no other claims or reports, so thank you for producing the safest, most healthy food in Minnesota and Wisconsin and for operating such safe, welcoming markets. 

Key things to keep in mind:

• For renewals - please review your entire online application! Things change year-to-year, so you need to update those changes.
• Listing additional insureds on  your certificate is no extra charge; try to add those when you apply / renew.
• We fixed some website issues, so policies should get processed faster. Still, - plan on 2 weeks turnaround time.
• Use an email you check often - your certificate of insurance gets emailed to you.
